Description Of Work: Had a new Chamberlain garage door opener installed. Bitter cold weather broke the old one. Since I had to turn off the circuit breaker to keep the opener from frantically clicking and flashing it was a bad situation. As a result the garage was dark when I had to keep letting my dog out. The door could only be opened manually in the dark. I called several companies and ended up with this company because they had a discount coupon in the newspaper. I called in the evening, and a friendly dispatcher arranged for an installation the next day. I was relieved with the immediate response within 24 hours.
Member Comments: Two courteous friendly employees came the next afternoon. Originally, they were going to install my building supply store purchased opener, but for approximately the same total cost, they installed a top of the line opener with all kinds of safety features; motion sensor lighting, two remotes, a digital wall panel showing the time and temperature and an exterior keypad. The door works flawlessly and quietly, and they removed the old opener and any debris associated with it. I couldn't be happier. This company has a high Service Magic rating and I was frankly surprised they were not included in Angie's List ratings.

Description Of Work: Full replacement of two 9' X 7' garage doors.
Member Comments: Had Allen Anderson out to give me an estimate on repairing the old garage doors vs. installing new. I decided to go the replacement route and am very satisfied with the results. Both the person providing the estimate as well as the installer were professional, arrived when promised, and did excellent work. I would have no hesitation using them again.

Approximate Cost: $1,570.00
Description Of Work: Removed a 16' x 7' and an 8' x 7' existing door; installed a new door, in each case reconnected existing door opener and installed new one. Total cost was only marginally greater than ordering and installing the doors myself.
Member Comments: Even when all the old hardware was removed, the installers were faced with a prior owner's use of 2 4 x 4s to hold one end of the door header instead of the 4 x 6 that would have been appropriate. They were forced to add supporting framing and other unusual installation procedures to make a square/plumb opening. All in all they did a very good job. They explained where I would need to do additional work to complete the weatherproofing of the large door (all related to the previous owner's dual 4 x 4 decision). Everything works beautifully and the installation looks great. Because of the extra work they were here well past normal quitting time. They cleaned up the job site and secured the tools I had moved out of the garage to give them workspace. If I had done the work myself, I would probably have had the same problems the previous doors had. Their diagnostic skills saved the day!
